About Save Oldham Coliseum
Save Oldham Coliseum is a campaign to protect the oldest producing theatre company in Oldham. Our theatre has been providing entertainment for over 130 years and has become a symbol of the city's cultural heritage. We aim to preserve this heritage and ensure that future generations can enjoy the magic of live theatre.
Upcoming activity
We have several upcoming projects that need your support. We are stepping up the awareness-raising and creative campaign over the next few months and are looking for a bit of financial support to do things well and properly and to be able to pay for PR and filmmakers etc (all will be revealed!)
What could a new Coliseum look like?
Updating the existing theatre would cost a fraction of the money earmarked for the proposed new small, commercially unviable building.
